01/The view
Farmland, river, and weather you can watch arrive.
The house sits near the top of the ridge, so the view runs out over rolling farmland to the Shenandoah River rather than into the next hillside. Morning fog settles in the valley and burns off while you are still on your first coffee.
02/The hot tub
Hot tub, fire pit, and a deck that runs the length of it.
The hot tub faces the valley, the grill is on the upper deck, and there is a fire pit out back with Adirondack chairs and cornhole on the lawn.
03/The rec room
The rec room is why groups rebook.
A tournament poker table that seats ten, an electronic dartboard, a foosball table, and an indoor putting green, all in one room with a big TV and a sectional.

Beautiful home with an even better view. FYI- you work for the view (driveway is very steep). Perfect location for touring vineyards.
The house had a beautiful view and a nice space for hanging out with the family and eating dinners. Driveway is gravel and very steep- recommend 4 wheel drive.
Having the downstairs space for the noisy kids was a bonus! Most importantly was how quickly Fidum responded to any questions we had. An excellent experience. 10/10.

Front Royal is the northern gateway to Shenandoah National Park, which puts Skyline Drive and the first stretch of the Appalachian Trail a short drive from the door. Dulles is about an hour and fifteen out, which makes this an easy weekend from DC without feeling anywhere near it.
